Auto Setup [set] -> Enter

I am stuck here with no original remote and the unit is asking me the following with a blue screen (with audio from the tv tuner in the background): Auto Setup [set] -> Enter I have used 4 different universal remotes and none successfully utilize the "Enter" button. So I sit here unable to backup my Tivo Stuff onto tape. I know, I will eventually purchase a DVR, but I am stuck. Please Help!

I agree with Techman. I also suggest that you try to program your your Universal Remote for SANYO, as a lot of the earlier Fisher Machines were sourced from Sanyo.

Im really sorry But theres nothing that can be done, unless you borrow a freinds fisher remote, or see if a local store has one you can borrow. You can purchase one at http://remotes.com, but its probably going to cost at least a good 25 to 45 bucks. Borrow a freinds video machine that does have a remote or a new machine is only 40 bucks these days. sorry to have to deliver the bad news to you.

While the set is on, pull the power plug. Then hold and depress the power button in for about a minute. Then replug set and turn it back on. If that does not reset the tv then you do indeed have a serious issue with the set.

You didn't mentioned the brand of your blue ray player. Anyway go to its setup and set the audio output priority as HDMI. also turn OFF the DRC if its a sony blue ray player. Also check the down mixing setting make it satandard

Settings in receiver.
First of all check the surround settings.
Play a blue ray disk and press the STANDARD button o the receiver's remote and select STANDARD mode.

If you didn't get the surround channels follow the below procedure
Now go to the setup of your receiver.
1. Using the down arrow go to the Advanced play back and press enter.
2. In the Advanced playback menu select auto surround mode and press enter
3. Select it ON using right arrow or left arrow. and press enter
4. Exit the setup and check is every thing working fine.

If dosn't work
Again go to the setup of the receiver

2. In the speaker setup menu select speaker configuration and press enter
3. Check the status of all the speaker, if any speaker is in NONE position , make it LARGE or SMALL according to the speaker you are using.
Exit setup and check again.
