How do you fix the Glove Box Door, its stuck and unable to open. There is no key there to lock the Glove Box Door
The most common cause is something inside the glove box jammed in the latch. Push glove box door release , and GENTLY insert a flat putty knife, plastic knife, or similar type tool in the groove of door, GENTLY try to pry open the door. U will probably (hopefully) find a napkin, map, or glove (does anybody actually put gloves in the glove box?) jammed in the inside latch. Let me know how u make out.

It is 2020 and I am laughing at Curt's 2008 glove comment. But DAM, my ToyRAV4 glove box is still jammed and yeah I bet it is a tiny aspirin bottle or chapstick or the like. Gloves??? Heck no. RAv4 has a heated steering wheel!!!!

Thanks CountryCurt0, however, I don't think there is anything jammed in the inside latch. It feels like the glove-box door latch may be broken (i hope not). but will try it out.

I had the same problem. I had to remove the entire glove box assembly in order to get the door open. After I opened the door, and removed the latch, I found that the latch was no good. I am currently looking for used one, since I would have to pay for a complete glove box assembly and that is expensive.
