When I turn my mp3 player on, it says that there is 0.00 free memory and that there is no file. When I try to access my player though windows browser, it says that the disk is formatted. Where can I find software that I can reinstall it? Thank you.

U Just reformat the whole MP3 player but before resetting again u have 2 save all of ur files on the MP3. How 2 reset ur MP3:

1. Open "My Computer"
2. Right click on ur MP3
3. Go to "Format..."
4. Click on "Start"
5. Leave it and once it finishes u must check to see if it says the remaining memory on the disk. If not then I'm not sure wat 2 do.

TRY THIS!!! Download the latest firmware and flash the MP3 player. Make sure you download the correct firmware for your MP3 player and follow the instruction carefully. Go here for the latest firmware: http://www.cczclan.com/yp-55download.asp Follow this link for older firmware and software from Samsung: http://www.cczclan.com/yp-55download.asp

I did format for my device(samsung yp f2 1gb) and now when I turn it on it shows "NO FILE" and it doesnt play any music

Ok, so I did the same thing, clearing up some hidden files for deleted items, freeing up a lot of space and i made my mp3 player into a simpme usb hardware... but.... the solution was

FORMAT IN FAT (simple or whatever your pc says) NOT FAT32

Now the mp3 finds the songs and plays them.... no firmware needed, and honestly, if its not made this year your wont find any firmware that works

enjoy
