Epson Styluss C 66 problem will not print red light goes on

My Epson Stylus C 66 is not printing. When I turn it on the green light is on of cause but as soon as I go to print from my P.C. the far left red light goes on flashing. The far left red light goes on and the printer sounds like it is printing but it is not printing the cartdridge even moves back and forth but does not print and the paper is not feeding threw makes noise like it is going to print but the far red light goes on and nothing else happens. Can you please help me I have some classes I am preparing for and I need to print lots of information for the class. Thank you Oh yes forgot to inform you I am a dummy when it comes to this fixing stuff. Thanks Carmela K.

3 years old Epson C66 printer will not print. Message saying that the printer has reached the end of serviceable life. How can I reset the counter and clean the waste ink pads?

The printer head needs to be replaced. Cheaper to buy a new printer - not an epson this time.

The ink cartridges are usually not compatible with current models. It's called obselescence by design.

I hope this will help you :)
* Green Power light flashes- The printer is receiving a print job, replacing an ink cartridge, charging ink, or cleaning the print head.
* RED paper light is On- If the CD/DVD try guide is open, close the CD/DVD tray guide, load paper, then press the paper button. Your paper ran out or multiple sheets loaded at the same time . Load paper and press the paper butoon to resume printing.
* RED paper light flashes- Paper is jammed in the printer. Press the paper button to eject the jammed paper. If the light is still flashing , open the cover and remove all paper, including any jammed or torn pieces. Then reload paper and press the paper button to continue printing.
* RED Ink Light Flashes - One or more cartridges are low on ink. Check the message that appears on your screen to determine which cartridge is low, or follow the instructions in " Checking the Ink Supply". Make sure you have a replacement cartridge.
* RED Ink Light is ON- One or more cartridges are out of ink or not installed. If you have just installed a new cartridge, it may be incomaptible with the printer or incorrectly installed. Reinstall it or replace it with the correct cartridge
* RED Ink and RED paper lights flash alternately- The CD/DVD tray guide was left open when you turned on the printer or when printing on paper. Just simply close it/
* Green Power Light is Off; RED paperand RED Ink Lights flashing- Paper may be blocking movement of the print head. Turn off the printer, then open the cover and remove any jammed paper or other foreign objects. Turn the printer back on again. Or it may have an internal error. Turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, then turn it on again.

My Epson Stylus Photo 890 stopped printing. Both ink cartridges are full;there is no paper jammed inside. The green power light goes off and the maintenance red light stays on. Any advice ? Thank You

it could be the coagulation of ink in between the cartridgebetter dip it in mild hot water for some times and replace it wiping the water. it would do the trick and solve your problem . it has been practicallytested.

Replaced the ink cartridge now it will not print

there is a great possibility that the nozzles of your printer are clogged by dried inks.maybe cause by the previous inks that you just replaced. we can check that by printing a nozzle check pattern.

1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Turn off the Epson Stylus NX110 Series. 3. Hold down the nx110_tx110_ug.1.98.1.jpg

Stop button as you press the nx110_tx110_ug.1.98.2.jpg

On button to turn the Epson Stylus NX110 Series back on. When the nx110_tx110_ug.1.98.3.jpg

On light begins to flash, release the nx110_tx110_ug.1.98.4.jpg

Stop button.

4. Check the nozzle check pattern that prints to see if there are gaps in the lines.

5. If there are no gaps, the print head is clean and you can continue printing. If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, clean the print head. Using the Control Panel 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Make sure the Epson Stylus NX110 Series is on and the ink light is off. 3. Hold down the nx110_tx110_ug.1.99.1.jpg

Stop button for three seconds to start the cleaning cycle, which lasts around one minute. The nx110_tx110_ug.1.99.2.jpg

On light flashes throughout the cleaning cycle and stays on green when the cycle is finished. Caution:
Never turn off the Epson Stylus NX110 Series during a cleaning cycle or you may damage it. 4. Run a nozzle check to confirm that the print head is clean. You may need to clean the print head up to 4 times. You can also turn off the Epson Stylus NX110 Series and wait at least 6 hours. Then try printing again.

My Epson is printing pages in code and will not stop and the green light is blinking and the red is staying on. We put in new ink cartridges today.

zark4, The green light flashing means you have print jobs waiting to be printed. Don't Turn Off The Printer When The Green Light Is Flashing ! If you have paper in the printer, the red light means you have an empty ink cartridge. Because both things are happening at the same time, here's what you need to do. First click start. Click printers and faxes. Double left click the Epson C-60 Icon. Left click Printer and click Cancel all documents and click yes, then exit. Remove and reinsert your new ink cartridges to make sure they are seated correctly. After you have done this and the printer finishes the automatic charging of the ink cartridges, the lights should be back to normal. Green light on.

Everytime I print everything is smeared. I can't understand the words. Epson styluss nx 400

Do a printer check first. Print a nozzle check pattern. If you see any gaps or breaks or missing colors on the pattern, clean the printhead.
Possible paper setting issue too. Make sure that you are selecting the correct paper type on the print settings page.

Color problem

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
