Does anyone know what to do if you Sleek freezes up??? I was deleting an album while listening to another song and it completely froze, I can't turn it off, I can't do anything. Do I just let it run out of battery???
Try taking a toothpick, and at the bottom of your mp3 player, there is the usb insert port thing, but then there is this little hole to the right...it's the reset button. After you hit the reset button, just let it charge.

The iPod's shuffle feature lets you randomize playback of albums, songs or even your entire music library. You may also find this feature useful if you want to listen to forgotten tracks in your library or discover songs you haven't listened to yet. Disabling the shuffle feature will return playback of a song list to its standard consecutive order. You can enable and disable the shuffle feature at any time.
Navigate to the main menu. Select "Settings." Scroll to the "Shuffle" option. Select "Songs" or "Albums." If you select "Songs," the iPod Classic will shuffle the songs on whatever song list you listen to. If you select "Albums," the iPod Classic will play all songs of an album you select in order and then randomly select another album. Navigate to the playlist or album to which you want to listen. Play a song to initiate the shuffle. b> iPod Nano and iPod Touch Tap the "Songs" icon on your nano home screen. If you are using an iPod Touch, open the "iPod" application. Navigate to the song list, playlist or album you want to play. Tap the "Shuffle" icon at the top of the list to activate the feature.
i have a zen sleek and every time i turn it on it says rebuilding library. It completes this but deletes the last album etc that i put onto it. back down to the last album i put on before it started doign it. So i cant put anymore mousic on becuase it deletes it..Any Help?
I beleive your player saves a lists as well as the song itself.
the easiest way to fix it is to (if possible) use windows explorer, goto your player and look for a folder that says "albums" or "list", scroll thru and delete the folder of the songs that you have deleted.
Well to purchase the rights for the song you can (and should !!) use Napster. Its completely legal, the software is free. You can choose to pay per month for a thing called napster to go. You can have that cause your mp3 player is comatible with that special. its 15 $ a month, you get unlimited downloads to your mp3 player! and all legally. Or you have the option to buy songs or albums for 1,19$ the song or about 9,99$ the album. And the selection of artist is huge. go to www.napster.com for usa, and www.napster.ca for canada.
if you still have the songs on your computer you can format the player it will delete everything but you will be able to put your songs on with no problem. i had that same problem it was showing songs that i deleted from it and not playing songs that we're supposed to be there
Why does technology make you work for what you already paid good money for? Have you tried going into Recovery Mode? You do this by holding down the Play/Pause button while triggering the Reset button. Once there, you have four options. Try selecting Disk Cleanup and then Reboot. You might need to re-Sync a few things but it's worth a shot. Good luck.
This is important; because, if you cannot get into Recovery Mode, then
this is a sure sign of a bricked player. You could try a forced hard
reset by going in and disconnecting the battery, but chances are, the
player is bricked.
