Question about Uniden Cordless Phone

2 Answers

General problems I've been having problems with the 25881EE3 phone. Started out the base wouldn't keep the correct time and date. After about 3 months it would cut out every five min or so and say, "Press and hold the memo button to receive set up instructions". When it did this and you were on one of the cordless phones it will almost terminate your call, you loose connection with the people you're talking to. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem or get a new phone? I don't have my receipt anymore.

I lost my instructions to use my 25881EE3-A phone and I really need them. Is there a way of down loading them?

Cored base/answer machine repeats "Press and hold memo button to recieve set up instructions" All day all night resetting the day/time to Mon 12:00. Called GE they said to unplug and disconnect all phones in the house, wait some period of time to reset to factory setting and begin a new. I could unplug for days (while away) and still get "press and hold...." You would think a phone set would last longer than a few months.

It sounds like your base is losing power, and your cordless hand sets get their dial tone from the base unit. The ac adapter supplied with your phone is for all the bells and whistles your phone has in it.The phone jack is where the dial tone and any features you may have ordered from your local phone company, such as VM.call waiting, etc come from.If you have a good steady dial tone one your base unit then any other problems with the remote hand sets is a problem with the base unit.

How do I set my time and date to a different time and date?

All questions need
'make model (what it is)'

You posted to the category Cellphones and normally it is automatic based on the time zone you are in, or set by the Telco based on location. Or you set it in Settings / General / Date and Time.

Hi same problem here. The "content" menu wouldn' t work, though i' ve uninstalled / reinstalled LG PC Suite many times. Why do they sell a software that doesn't even work correctly, and just let custo

The main LG PC suite screen is flawed and doesnt work for anyone, right click the sys tray icon next to the OS clock and access contents through that method, its the only way to get into it. Otherwise, go to the phone settings>connectivity and change usb mass data transfer to on to use it as a normal removable media device. Data transferred via the USB mass storage will transfer a lot quicker than using the PC suite too.

You have to unplug everything, take the batteries out of all the phones, wait ten minutes and then plug everything back in. Mine does this once or twice a week... they won't give me my money back.

IN 120 base keeps flashing CL

This is due to the base unit losing power and needs the clock resetting.
The handsets retain their clocks under battery power so this is a little misleading.

To reset the base unit clock:
- press the OK key
- press the 'down' arrow twice until "DATE/TIME" is displayed.
- press the OK key again, this will display the year. Enter the correct year on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK. (Only the last two digits of the year need to be entered).
- The date is then displayed in MM/YY format, enter the correct date on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK.
- The time is then displayed, enter rhe correct time on the handset numeric keypad and press OK.
- The handset then beeps and displays "SAVED".
- Press the "C" button and replace the handset on the base unit.

The base unit should now stop flashing "CL".

Cordless phone 25881

Sounds like a power problem.
This model of phone will work as a regular corded phone when no ac power is available.
IE the cordless function is only available when you have electricity.
- is the ac adapter plugged into a working outlet.
- is the ac adapter working.
- is the ac adapter pluged into the base.

hope this helps

Uniden DSS7955 Cordless phone problems

I had the same problem!

What you need to do is hold the "end" and "#" key for 5 sec, which will deregister the headset then all you would have to do is place it back in the base for it to registered again.
