I have 27" jensen which plays fine until it warms up. i can freeze the jungle chip (la76932n) and the hissing noise in the audio goes away, only to return in about 3-4 minutes. any ideas?
Be sure to replace it with the exact part number cause some la76932 have different program

That is about the time it takes a component to heat up again and show a problem,it seems you have isolated the problem good just make sure the components around the Ic are not getting cool too because it might be one of the,if you are sure nothing else is getting cool check the solder conections on the chip and if they are solid just replace the IC.Is a good place to start.
