No Sound When I make or recieve a call, I can't hear the other party unless I put it on speakerphone. The person on the other line is able to hear me at all times. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

I have the same phone and fixed it for about $3.. THERE IS A HOME FIX THAT YOU CAN DO THAT INVOLVES OPENING THE phone and adding a piece of tape over the connectors for the speaker.. its very easy to do but you need to buy or have a small torx screwdriver.. look it up on the net you can find instructions on how to do it

Seems lots of others have this problem too and it may be a physical problem with the device... read more at: http://forums.cingular.com/rss/message?board.id=motorola&message.id=76868

Speaker phone problem

It is possible. I have ATT 945(?) 4 line phones that communicate via a DSL-like signal between units to do special things like intercom, etc.

What I have in my setup is that I have a seperate line from the point of entry of my phone line to my DSL modem.

I then have TWO stacked DSL filters PER LINE that feed the main phone line running to all the phones.

Be AWARE that when using the speaker phone there is a modulation of the gains both directions. When you talk OR have a noisy background noise, the gain of the speaker is cut down to prevent feedback. And when you go silent, the speaker gain is increased for you to hear the other side of the call. Essentially it takes as much discipline as the old two-way radios... one talker at a time with these speaker phones AND very little background noise.

Can only use speakerphone to hear caller's voice on my iPhone

It's usually caused by a defective or dislodged electronic module that sits behind the ear speaker, this should be covered under warranty unless there are visible marks of the drop. If you're not covered, you can try a iphone repair guide websites, there are also places that sell iphone parts.
