This is a common Mavica problem - you'll have to have the disk drive replaced.

How to fix my wow fiest videoke wf230hd warning pleas insert usb disk

The error message "Please insert USB disk" on a Wow Fiesta Videoke WF230HD suggests that the device is not detecting a USB disk that is needed for it to function properly. Here are some steps you can try to fix this issue: 1) Check the USB disk: Make sure the USB disk you are trying to use is not damaged or corrupted. Try using a different USB disk to see if the problem persists.

2) Check the USB port: Make sure the USB port is clean and free of any debris. Try connecting the USB disk to a different USB port to see if that resolves the issue. 3) Check the settings: Make sure the device is set to use a USB disk as the source for the songs. You can check this in the settings menu of the device.

4) Perform a firmware update: Check the manufacturer's website for any updates to the device's firmware. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix compatibility issues with USB disks. 5) Format the USB disk: Format the USB disk using the FAT32 file system, which is the file system that the Wow Fiesta Videoke WF230HD supports. 6) Reset the device: You can try resetting the device to its factory settings. This can often resolve any software-related issues.

7) Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. They may be able to diagnose and fix the problem or advise on further steps.

Write protected and disk not found are the typical messages that a pc gives when you try to access a memory stick in which the actual memory chip has died. Nothing more can be done to fix it - it's dead. Junk it.

Cannot burn AVCHD disk. Get this error

The problem with creator 2009 has been fixed by the roxio people.
Instead of burning directly to the DVD disk as roxio software states,
one needs to first save this to be AVCHD movie as a file and then burn directly from the file. This works OK, but as stated this is different
from what the software claims. I'm happy. Thanks

Corrupt File System

Well i guess that either your file system is corrupt or your disk is formatted into a filesystem that it's not supported by the backup programs. I don't really know what filesystem is your disk formatted into but usually the FAT32 and FAT16 are the most failsafe file systems for Windows.
So copy/paste the data you don't want to loose and then go to
My computer -> right click on the drive icon -> format and then choose fat 32. Then try backing up your laptop again.
