My printer is OKIPAGE 10i installed on Windows XP.
Every time I turn on my printer I get the same word document that I sent for printing a few days ago. I do not see it in the queue for printing (from Settings, Printers/Faxes). I deleted the specific document from my computer but yet it seems that the printer kept it in its memory and prints it every time I turn it on. How do I stop the printer from printing it?
Please help!
Agreed. The printer would appear to be holding this job. Have seen this on much newer kit but there is no way of deleting it. Even if you reset the eeprom that data will not be cleared. The only fix is a new main board and that's well obsolete. So unfortunately that's really the end of the printer. Wish I could of been of more help. one thought though have to tried it on another pc? If its the same then yes its the printer but if no then you need to delete everything in c:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS then Delete all of the .SPL and SHD files you find in this folder (do not delete the PRINTERS folder, just its contents)
Good luck
SOURCE: OKIpage 10i does not accept A4, and wants 'Letter'
Maybe you won't be able to use A4 paper, which I think is 3/4 inch longer than letter-size 8 1/2 x 11, according to the sizing inside the paper tray of my OKIPAGE 10e. My computer, using Windows 98, doesn't list OKIPAGE 10e among the printers I can use with my computer. Yet, Windows 98 has incorrectly identified my printer as Okidata OL-600e for some reason. I'm surprised my printer works at all with Windows 98. Thanks for detailing your question as "when I print a test page (from the printer controls), because I was unaware I could print a test page using printer controls, so I started pressing anything that looked like an electronic button on the top of my printer. I believe this trial and error eventually helped me to get rid of an unwanted 1 inch wide bar, from top to bottom of 8 1/2 x 11 pages about 2 inches from the right-hand-side of my pages. This was progressively getting worse. I thought I was going to have to buy a new printer. I bought this printer used, and without instruction booklet, so I used your info. about printer controls and started pressing electronic buttons. It's amazing, because after I made about 35 copies, now the annoying 1 inch wide black bar is gone!

Thank you very much for your advice. Unfortunately it does not work. I unplugged it and left it for several days. It keeps printing the same document every time the computer starts! How do I reset the printer?? Please help!
Many thanks in advance.
Try powering the printer down and then unplug the power cord. Wait several minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on. Comment back.
