My phone is about 6 months old... it's never gotten wet or anything or been dropped. I was talking on it last night and when I tried to call someone today I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. They called me back on a different number and I could hear them, but they still couldn't hear me. I restarted it and it didn't work. I opened the back and there was a drop of coffee in there. haha, is that bad? Is there any hope for this phone, I'm a struggling student who can't afford a new one :)
SOURCE: car kit mode
Car kit mode is usually caused by debris in the phone's cable connector (at the bottom of the phone). The debris causes two or more contacts to be electrically connected to each other, causing the phone to think it's connected to a car kit. Remove the battery from the phone and clean the cable connector contacts with some rubbing alcohol and the corner of a towel. Also, try using an opened paperclip to scrape the contacts in the connector, this will remove any corrosion that may have built up.

You can tell if your phone has gotten wet by taking out the battery. There's a little sticker both on the phone and on your battery that is white with little red crosses on it. If it's faded and red, you have water damage. I recently had the same problem though, without any water damage. They told me that it was not a common problem.. but it's happened to me twice, on two different Env's. Soo... sounds like a common problem to me.

hi there..
you must "reset" your LG phone back to factory setting by reading it first at manual book (if you have).one thing you must remember just copy the phone book that stored at phone memory to your sim card.copy the photo/song that you save in phone memory to memory card 'cause when you reset your phone it will back to new again with empty phone memory...
