The keypad probably has in intermittent short in the membrane, and will need to be replaced.

How do I set the clock on a Panasonic microwave nn-e271wm

To set the clock, you need to press Timer/Clock twice. Then press the 10 Min keypad several times until you get to the correct hour. Then press the 1 Min keypad as needed to get to the closest 10 minute period below the current time. Finally press the 10 Sec keypad several times to reach the current time. Then press Timer/Clock once to exit the time set feature.

Panasonic has the manual for the NN-E271WM on their downloads page: http://www.panasonic.eu/Downloads/en_GB/popup.html . Enter the model number and then click View. You will need to accept the Panasonic Terms Of Use and click View again. The direct link to the manual is currently http://tda.panasonic-europe-service.com/docs/2z5845f124z3z39cabz656ez706466z25z9709ff8b3ba329b0c218b9bf248a6442e93022b3/tsn3/data/ALL/NNE281BMBPQ/OI/912715/NN-E271WME281BME281MM.pdf . See page 21 in the manual (23 in the PDF) to see the procedure.

I hope this helps.

Microwave beeps and with each beep a 6comes up on display, and the START under the numbers flashes, but I am unable to press any buttons to clear it. Also sometimes I can open the door and press the...

You didn't mention your brand or model number, so I can only give you a general response.

It sounds like a shorting membrane keypad.

On Samsung's, they will show the error code "SE".

For detailed do it yourself info and/or an estimate, please post a new FixYa help request and include the model, or contact me here with that info.

Round soft key OXO Timer I need to change the clock time their model # is 1061978

Operating functions:
To set the clock, press and hold the clock/timer button for three seconds. A clock icon will appear on the left side of the screen. Input the time using the numerical buttons and then click the clock/timer button to save the time.
To set the timer, press and release the clock/timer button so that the display shows all zeroes. Enter the desired time using the keypad. Press start/stop to start the countdown. The countdown may be paused by pressing the stop/start button and resumed by pressing the same button again.
When countdown is complete, timer will beep continuously for thirty seconds and display will flash. Timer will then beep every ten seconds for ten minutes until the stop/start button is pressed.
This timer will also time up to time activities. To start count up, press clear/memory so timer reads all zeroes. Press stop/start and a plus sign will appear on the right side of the screen as the timer begins counting up.

Microwave doesn't work

Sounds like you have a faulty control panel. I would use a meter and test the power from the control board to the magnetron and circuit board. Chances are the control panel is faulty

Keypad does not always work

HI. you will need to replace this malfunctioning key pad asap. this will require you to disassemble the unit, in order to reach the actual touch pad board. It is not an easy task, and i recommend a professional tech, if possible.

LG Microwave Beeps 3 times, display shows F3 and keypad dead.

Since it's less than one year old, it would be fully covered under warranty.

I'd suggest returning it to the dealer or contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

Built in kitchenaid microwave starts beeping, then won't function. flipping breaker helps sometimes, but other times it doesn't help.

When this happens, what is shown in the display? Is it the same displayed info each time?

This is usually a failing membrane keypad, but your reply will help me know if it's that or some simpler.

Microwave beeps, error codes display and keypad stops working

It sound like you have a bad keypad or controls.

Is it possible that moisture from the sponge is getting into the controls?

You might contact the manufacturer to see if there might be a recall. I've seen keypad recalls in the past.

Anytime the keypad is suspected of coming on by itself, the oven should be unplugged when not in use.

MY MICROWAVE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING

I couldn't find those exact trouble codes, but a common problem is when the controller gets damp, either from steam rising from the cooktop or someone spraying cleaner directly on the keypad. Cleaners should always be sprayed on a soft cloth, then wipe the keypad with the cloth. Also, GE / Samsung codes of F1, F2 and F3 may be the same since Samsung makes GE microwaves. Those would mean trouble with the temperature sensor, keypad, or control panel. Assuming your control panel is clean and dry, it may be time to call for service.
