EXACTLY, it just doesn't work. It will turn on and off and display the last photo taken but that it is. Will not take pictures, cannot view any other photois than the last one taken. Cannot use any of the functions keys, no menus will open. It seems to be LOCKED.

    Hi guys,

I have a cannon Ixus 3.2mp camera which turns on ok and shows the Cannon logo perfectly, but when the display is operated prior to taking shots the screen shows a picture that is drawn out length ways, is mainly various shades of pink and is out of focus.

This is the picture that is captured and stored, I have tried all the basic settings, tried different sd cards, switched on/off numerous times. It seems to be a processor or firmware problem, any help or ideas much appreciated.

I went from XP to windows 7 64 bit and now my cyber-shot camera is not recognized when I try to download pictures. Sony couldn't figure it out.

If you connect CyberShot Camera from a USB Cable, check the cable once. If that doesn't solve the problem, Choose Mass storage option from the Camera Menu when prompted. I think it should work.

The pictures were too bright

Try to reset the camera to the original settings to see if that sovlves the probem.
I think its under Menu then Tools then scroll to Reset. If that doesn't work then
you have a Lens malfunction.

I have a J10 fujifilm camera and it currently has an error message: FRAME NO. FULL! I have the following picture card: Fujifilm xD xD-Picture Card M1GB Any advice would be appreciated.

Try formatting the memory card. If that doesn't work, try a different memory card. If that doesn't help, sadly, it's probably time to return the camera if it's still under warranty.

Good luck!

Blured picture outcome

Try resetting the settings in the camera's menu. If that still doesn't work then you'll have to get your camera serviced by an authorized Nikon service center. If the camera is less than a year old you may still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

The menu screen is on and we can not take pictures, we can not get out of that setting

Hi, If it won't let you quit out of the menu screen I'd suggest turning the camera off then on, if that doesn't work take the battery out for a couple of minute and that should do the trick.

I took 850 pictures but T I can see in the camera only 180. Do you know what is happening?

I think you will have to reformat your memory card.
To do this:
  1. Copy all the pictures from the camera onto your computer.
  2. With the camera on, and the memory card inserted, press the menu button.
  3. Highlight "Setup"
  4. Go to "Format"
  5. Select "Yes"
After this is complete, if it still doesn't work, your memory card is defective and you must buy a new one.

When I turn my camera on, the lcd doesn't display. I can review an image though in the play mode. any ideas??

Rebel XT doesn’t have live view function. You cannot have picture on LCD when taking picture. If you can review the pictures and operate menu on LCD, your camera just fine.
