SOURCE: Lexmark X1150 only prints first page

I have an x4550, running windows vista basic on an hp dv6000t notebook. i had the same problem. i contacted online lexmark tech and here's the solution that worked for me, thanks to help from lexmark (transcript of chat):

Please follow the steps given below to change the spool data format:
1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers."
2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."
3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.
4. This is the spool format setting. It should be set to the default to "LEMF." Change it to "Lexmark." Under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."
5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.
6. Please try printing again.

I recently had the same problem. Your Lexmark printer has automatically placed itself on pause. You must go to the control panel and unpause it from there. Its' simple, just go to control panel and select printer and faxes. Select your Lexmark printer and right click it. Then select resume from the drop down menu. Your printer is now unpaused and ready to print!

How to reset pc counter on lexmark x464

Of course - why didn't I think of holding down 2 and 6 and turn it off and on - that's perfectly logical! Works great but the user interface certainly isn't very intuitive.

I have a Lexmark x125 printer and it prints at about one page per minute. Why is it printing at such a slow speed?

Lexmark printers depending on the print job are like that by design, Also if your using a USB port below 2.0 that can be the cause.

Most Lexmarks print slower then other major brands, there is basically nothing much you can do about it unless you lower the quality on the printing.

Other issues like out of date printer drivers can cause slow processing so keep that in mind, make sure you have update drivers.

Generally though Lexmark is the slowest printer..

Lexmark T652dn having delayed printing after 3-4 successful prints. Delay is anywhere from 3-5 minutes. Jobs are all the same size and not very big.

Since you did not specify the operating system of your computer, I assumed that you are using Windows.

Slow printing can happen for a lot of reasons, please try to use the Host-Based or Post Script print driver (not universal). You may download this from support.lexmark.com

When printing a powerpoint presentation to a lexmark E260, it takes a lot of time to print it. It prints one page, wait for some minutes & then print second page and so on.

Slow printing can happen for a number of different reasons. Lexmark printers are host-based printers.

Please try use the Post Script print driver or Host Based print driver. You may go support. lexmark.com to download this, or may also click the link http://bit.ly/pYTmwf

I have replaced my photoconductor in my Lexmark x464 and I still have a warning notification comming on. How do I reset it?

Try:

To restore factory defaults:

1. POR the machine into Configuration Mode.

2. Use the down navigation button to scroll to the RESTORE

FACTORY DEFAULTS item on the menu.

3. Press Select. The machine performs a POR.

4. The RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULTS sets the MFP non critical

parameters back to the factory settings.

Note: Some settings are not affected: panel language, energy
conserve, paper prompts, registration margins, and page count.

We are experiencing extremely slow printing with our 4150. It will print one page and then a large delay in printing other pages. Also a delay in starting to print.

go into the options.....and go into memory . you need to increase your memory thats whats happening . increase to the highest level and that will fix it.

I have a delay in certain items printing to a particular printer. For example, I have a printer setup in my bar area of the restaurant where are bar drink orders print, while food obviously prints in the...

Different or same manufacturer and model of printers in both areas?

Some printers require some time to "warm-up" before printing.
Once warm, each page prints without delay.
So, the kitchen printer could be "busy", printing order after order, and will stay "warm".

Interchange the two printers, and see if the "slowness" stays with the printer, or if the "slowness" stays at the bar.
