Question about Pioneer SD-P5795W 57" Rear Projection Television
A power supply is a very complex circuit that changes the voltage that comes from an outlet to voltages the tv can use and is a circuit that need to be repaired because in Tv's is only a section of a circuit board and the rest of the board has other functions. Computers use a single module that you can replace as a whole but not tv's.Be safe an call a qualified technician because there is danger involved.Get an estimate.

I'm about to take a sledge hammer ti my Pioneer sd-5795w which keeps shutting itself off. How can something that has worked fine for 10+ years suddenly stop working? Since searching for answers, it's evident that a lot of other models and brands have the same problem. You'd think electronics were in their **** infancy or something. If all we have to choose from is trash then why is it so **** expensive???
all of these tv's have the same problem, it is the power supply that is about 1,000.00 to fix by any tv repair person best is to throw away buy a nicer new one at a cheaper price.
