I cannot find the make of Samsung that I have but it looks very close to this one. My problem is that I can dispense water but the ice tray is not filling. When I hit the test button the ice tray rotates but again it does not fill with water. Has anyone had this problem before and do you know how to fix it please.
Don't buy another Samsung reffigerator. I won't. I and I will always tell everyone I know the same.
I paid over 1200.000 for my refrigerator in Nov 2006. It has never worked correctly. They have replaced everything on the back three times and it is still not working correctly. Since then the refrigator part is not cooling. Today is Sept 10 2008 and I am going to purchase a new refrigerator. It will never be Samsung again.
I had the same problem - the twin valve at the back which lets the water into the ice tray (and also the water dispenser) was faulty - only the ice tray valve, not the dispenser one. So the dispenser worked but the ice did not. repairman replaced it and has worked fine since.
The valve is at the back, to your right as you face the rear. You'll need to take the plate off and the vlve is the unit, about 3 inches by 2 inches and has one water inlet and two outlets. It was quite easy to replace (if only I had known, could've save 200 quid) - I think currys partmaster sell the part.
Hope this helps

Sometimes there is an air lock in the water tubing. Do you think pushing the water paddle for a considerable period of time will resolve the airlock and your ice tray might start filling up?
Did you ever get any advice for this problem? Please repost if not.

Really simple fix, it is a frozen water valve. You need to get yourself a big syringe and hot water. Remove the rubber flex pipe where the water comes out and get as much boiling hot water as you can in the exposed pipe, don't worry it will come straight back out. After you have put a couple of syringes down press the reset button. I cycled through this about 5 times. Now all is well
