my tvs volume has been increasing suddenly on serving the channels mostly above 20th channel recently the picture disappeared it shows red line in the middle but volume is present quickly give me the solution
hi, if you know little fixing tip's? here's my tip's sound's
like converging ic's,gone bad. on the left board there's two a touched to a big heat sink.but before you start'.there's three wire connected to the board written. red .blue.and green.check for burn film resistor's on line red. replaced it with the same.good luck.
If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.
This is no solution but a point in a probable direction.
A tech guy told me ALL the LCDs they have seen in their repair shop have "swollen" capacitors, this is due to voltage instability. Lowering the internal voltage regulator and replacing the swollen capacitors (which eliminate noise) apparently restores the LCD to new working quality. Without actually "seeing" my problem the tech said that should repair it. I have not tried this yet but eventually will begin that way.
Are you getting Green or purple or pink patches all over the screen? This could be a problem of Degaussing. Have you placed any Magnetic source near the TV recently? Some Tape recorder or walkie talkie or a Speaker, etc? The Magnetic field created by any of the above sources can cause coloured patches over a colour TV screen. It also happens if you shift the TV from one location to another.
The third possibility is that the Picture Tube's Red Output stage gone faulty. Unless you are a trained Solid state Electronics Technician, there is nothing you can do. Better go for a trade in.
actually your tv set was placed near object produced magnet especially speakers, used magnet, small one to de-gauss or just like cleaning the the tv screen untill impurity colors gone. need my [email protected]
With the set being 12 years old, I'm sure the picture tube is near the end of its useful life. You probably have a defective semiconductor, either an IC or transistor that has gone up giving you no color, but with the green picture, it is not likely worth repair.
