Installation I'm trying to install my device. Everytime that i start the Easy Start Cd, it tells me to download the Windows Media Player 10. But when i try, it tells me that: "A more recent version of Windows Media Player is already installed. A more recent version of Windows Media Player is already running on your computer. Setup cannot continue". And it does not let me keep on going with the installation. I try to sync from the version that i have in my computer and it doesn't let me do it. It tells me that the device is not registered. I really need help. Thank you!!! :) Paulina

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  4. As soon as the installation is completed, restart your computer, and then connect your player to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
  5. Once the device is connected, you may see the device appear in the task bar or as a folder in Windows Explorer. Now, you can launch Windows Media Player and use the software to transfer music to your player.

How to Put Songs on Disney Mix Max

The Disney Mix Max portable media player is capable of playing audio files in the MP3 format. It can also play videos formatted as WMV and display photos formatted as JPEG. You can convert audio files into MP3 using the Disney Mix Max software -- Mix It Plug-in. The plug-in works with Windows Media Player 10. Playlist dont Show

That player is set up for playlist transfer through Windows Media Player 10 only - you can either: 1) rollback your Windows Media Player to ver. 10; 2) attempt the firmware upgrade by running the Update tab in Philips Device Manager (may not work); 3) reinstall the installation CD - select Repair as your choice - it will add a plug-in that it may have skipped during initial installation. Good luck!

My computer don't found my mp3

The HDD1630 is only compatible with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10.

If you have Windows Media Player 11, unistall it to roll back to version 10.

Install and run the Philips Device Manager from the product CD.

Connect the HDD1630 to the power supply and connect to the PC.

The MP3 player should show as an MTP device. There should be a connection icon on the player screen.

Start Windows Media Player, and select the SYNC option to transfer music.

How

IMPORTANT: Do not drag and drop pictures into the GoGear with Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer. Also ONLY JPG/JPEG images are supported.
First check your computer to see if you have the latest version of the Philips Plug-in installed.
  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Program.
  2. Search and select Philips Device Plug-in. Click “Click here for support information” to check the version.
  3. If you already have the latest version (V3.13.00 for HDD6330 or HDD6320) (V3.14.00 for HDD1420, HDD1620, HDD1630, HDD1635 or HDD1830) then there is no need to upgrade.

If you need to upgrade your Philips Plug-in:
  1. Launch Internet Explorer
  2. Go to the Philips support site at http://www.ph ilips.com/support
  3. Select your country & language.
  4. Enter the model number and click on "Search".
  5. Select the model number if there is more than one listed.

  8. Download the file to your Desktop on your PC.
  9. Run the LM_XXX.exe to start the installation.
  10. Follow the screen instructions to complete the installation of Philips device plug-in.

Need a driver for the pmc 120 for XP.....

You need to use windows media converter (under the windows media folder) and convert all videos to WMV format and you have to use 320X240 output resolution, 800kbps sound quality. Anything else will result in a format out of specification error. Now where to move those video files is a mystery as there is no video folder. You can move all pictures into the pic library, etc. Windows Media Player 10 is designed to natively pick this device up and make synchronizing easy. when I plugged my Ebay PMC-120 in, Windows media player tried to sync all media files to my device, pictures, music, windows sound effects, etc. Should not be an big deal if you have the correct USB cable, mine came with one. Iriver.com has the software, but you have to go into the update software area of the site and there is a link to the master program in a set of upgrade instructions, no other place that I looked. Not Vista compatible unless you download the installation program and set its compatability to winXP BEFORE you run it. And stick with WMP 10 as it was around when this device was made.
