Hi,
If you are on 220/240 volt AC power, the original fuse supplied with the speakers was under rated for purpose. The start up draw when the speakers are turned on was spiking higher than the fuse rating. Contact Logitech support for a free replacement fuse of the proper rating.

SOURCE: logitech z5500 speakers no power

certainly sounds like a fuse problem. First check that the fuses you have used work in another appliance. You should not have to use a fuse from the logitech company but it will be rated for your speakers so would probably be best. If the fuse checks out (both plug and amp) then check the wall socket and the power cable.

I cant connect my Denon avr 682 to my pc via optical??

I would change your setting on your receiver to digital. its probably on analog. look for a button that says that. You might have to change your input have a look at the rear and see if it says, DVD optical or CD and choose that input.

Can someone please tell me how to connect my logitech z5500 to my lg 42ld460-ta LCD television to get the optimal sound value from the surround sound system? Thanks very much!

Your LG TV has an audio out socket at the back . Your Logitech has a cable with a green pin (headphone type) which normally goes into the PC's sound out. The same pin can be connected to the TV's out. Now if your TV has a digital out at the back, get yourself an optic fiber cable ( make sure its long enough to reach the Logitech ) and connect it to the z5500 for the best in sound !!.

Logitech z5500 power problem

I replaced the fuse in the subwoofer. Solved the problem, without a hitch. Just take the current one out and bring it to an audio/hifi shop. Ask to buy a similar one.

PS. The fuse might look damaged, but then again, it might not. Have the audio/hifi guy test the current fuse, that way you know if that's the problem.
