Digix Ht-1056A Chapter Pause Problem

I recently bought the Digix HT-1056A home theatre system. Upon playing a DVD it pauses for a second in between each chapter during normal playback. This can't be a normal operation. Any ideas?

Tu home theater tiene karaoke integrado? Si es as?, ve al menu del aparato, dirigete al submenu audio y apaga (off) la opci?n "Semi Karaoke".

Eso deber?a de resolver tu problema ya que es com?n en algunos modelos LG con karaoke integrado.

That can not be normal. i have the same unit and mine never does that type of action between chapters. Your unit should be serviced. I'm having problems using the component outputs. i can't even seem to get them to work. do you know how?

It could be just the disc that's faulty. I suggest you return it from where you bought it.

Pauses randomly during films, all front buttons play/pause the dvd
Maybe one or more buttons jammed or wet inside.
Try opening front panel and clean the contacts. If problem persists then it is the buttons controller IC/PCB faulty.

No, RCA pairs only carry analog stereo audio. Only a digital connection would carry surround sound.
