SOURCE: Red "wrench" indicator always on

Press the clear and the 8 button at the same time . This will give you a error code. I will guess that you have a "C7". If you still want to fix let me know error code.

You should be able to retrieve a code for a malfunction by pressing down the clear/stop and 8 keys. then let me know what you get, and we will go from there.

Dear sir, i have a problem in my toshiba estudio120 printer it displays in screen L1. How can i solve this problem to work printer. Plz help me.

Hi:

L-1 means that the scanner assy is not moving correctly. There is a scanner lock in the cavity where your copies come out. Just bend over and look up in the cavity and you should see a round knob. It has a lock and unlock icon. Make sure that is completely unlocked. If it is partially locked then this will keep the scanner from moving and cause the L-1 error.

My copier displays a flashing "H" then a flashing "4" error code

The H4 error is related to the Fuser Unit not reaching the correct operating temperature in the correct time. You can try clearing this error with the following:

Make sure that the machine is switched on and the error is displayed. Enter the Service Mode by pressing the following keys # * Clr *

Enter 14 and press Start. Then power off the machine, wait 30 seconds and then power back on. The error should have cleared. If not then you will need to call in a service engineer.

Flashing error code

Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.
  1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
  2. Find the button below the word Auto.
  3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.
  4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
  5. Press the green [Start] button.
  6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
  7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
  8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.
