This only happens when the stove or oven are in operation. After some time, the front panel (usually shows them temp of oven, time, etc.) will flash "fc" and will continue to beep. Pressing "cancel off" does not help.
FC appears in display, pressing cancel doesn't help. Beeping will continue a minute or so later.FC appears in display, pressing cancel doesn't help. Beeping will continue a minute or so later.

The electronic control may not be set correctly. If the control is
not programmed correctly the oven will not start and you will usually
hear a series of beeps instead of the microwave starting. See your Use
& Care Guide
I think the problem stems from working on the board with the power on. MicroProcessors don't like that. If by "popped" you mean made a frying noise, you are going to have to replace the board.
replace the entire range: Jennair does not know how to design, make, or program electronics. It makes steel boxes that provide heat but electronics - that's not within their ability. Buy a Kenmore or a GE and your beeping problem will go away.
Christina, FC means there is a communication error between your main power board and keyboard. There is a J2 harness that runs between them. You might try to reseat this harness. If that doesn't work the main board will have to be replaced. Catriver..post back.
