Low volume I have turned on all volume controls to the highest setting and I am still experiencing low volume .........HELP

from the beginning its perfectly work but after that sounds are not coming in any stage if any 1 can pls help me to fix this

If you can change the volume with the user friendly circuit controls on the set (if it has any) if not not the IC that controls the amplitude to the IF and AF amps has gone bad on it. This is my best guess because I don't even know what model or type the jvc is.

The volume control logic circuit inside the TV [circuit board] is faulty. Contact any experienced service technician. This is not a user repairable fault.

Have you checked your system audio volume?
If you are using Windows XP go to Start menu -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Volume Control

Make sure that the volume is set to the highest value.

Page 48 under Set Menu:

Initial volume INI.VOL.

Use this feature to set the volume level when the power of this unit is turned on.

Choices: Off, -80 dB to +16 dB
Control step: 1 dB

The manufacture generally set a default setting on the highest volume to match the speaker. So it does not pop. If you have it at the highest settings then that is the loudest the manufacture allows it.

On the TV-use your finger to adjust the volume level, about midway, then use the remote to shut off the tv, then turn on tv with remote. Volume level should be better! If still not loud enough...using your finger on the tv...turn up volume & repeat remote steps.

Monitor volume is affected by TWO volume controls (or even three...)
1: Volume on the monitor can be set to 80%
2: Main Volume on the COMPUTER can be set to your liking.
3: Wave volume on the computer mixer settings should be set for 80% (See Sound on your control panel or right click your volume control near the clock)

If all these are right and the volume is still low, check that the audio is not set for surround 5 or 7 channel and the monitor audio connector is plugged into the REAR green connection on the computer.

Still problems, the audio driver in the monitor is shot.

The first way to increase the volume is of course by the volume control on the right hand side of the player. If even at the highest limit (30) provided by this control, the volume seems low, then go to Settings --> Common Settings --> AVLS. The volume limit is probably on, so you can try putting it off and see if you can increase the volume further. Failing these methods, you can always use software like MP3Gain to raise the volume of your tracks.

go to sound icon in bottom right corner, click on mixer, then there is a sound output screen. I had the same problem on my laptop until i found this screen and turns out my laptop was using 20% of its volume!
