I am having a difficult time scanning to smb on a bizhub 350. Scan goes thru and sits in the queue, times out and creates an error. Does anyone have good step by step instructions for scanning to a desktop or server? The Minota docs leave a lot to be desired.

In smb server, create a folder and give all rights, to that folder, if youre in domain, it may need you to use a password, so create a user and password and give rights that user in folder then go youre printer ip address, and add a contact, choose smb and fill in the fields. if error occurs, then choose details and you see whats wrong

create a folder on the pc you want to scan to and share the folder on the network. This must be done or the printer will not see the folder. Then register a new SMB user on the bizhub and direct it to that pc's IP and the shared folder.
Can you print to your PC? if yes you know how to assign ip address to the copier. I suggest is to go web browser and type the ip adress of the copier. log in to adminstrator the password 12345678 click network scan you have choices which scanning you want. SMB, ftp scan to email. If choose SMB first you have create Folder to your desktop and name it SMB all upper case and right click sharing and permit everyone . Then back to copier web browser click tab scan and type all the names you want. Scan to e-mail you have to click network and enable the scan to email enter the SMTP leave the port 25 do not change assign a valid email address to copier and enter email address of the administrator user id and the last is the pasword. Note: everytime you visit this page you should enter the password. then click the scn tab and enter all your email address. enjoyprograming!!!
Your configuration sharing SMB folder is incorrect. Create desktop folder rename all upper case SMB right click on the folder and click sharing and set full control to everyone. Go to web brouser type in the ip address of the printer log on to administrator password 8 zeros or 12345678 and change the setting.
according to what I read on the C450 biz hub, in order to do OCR you
need to use the option that scans to SMB, that sends the scanned
documents to your computer on the network. You can then process
the documents on your computer with the OCR software program so you can
edit the finished documents. I did not see anything that
indicated the Bizhub had OCR software capabilities built into the
