If you haven't set a lock code, the default is 12345 .

Try to format the phone memory, but this will erase all your data, so, first save the info you need- contacts, photo, etc.

1) Factory defaults-
Type *#7780# on your standby screen.
This will reset all your setting to default factory settings. User data wont be affected. (Default Lock code is 12345)

2) Soft reset-
Type *#7370#
This will reset the phone as well delete user data. Use when want to format the phone.

Follow this instructions to format your phone
1)press *#7370#
2)enter security code(default code is 12345)
3) Wait a few minutes until the format is complete. Your phone will now be at its original factory setting
Now restore all your ring tones, messages and contacts and you once again have a fresh OS.

first try to clear your sent items or archive folder the restart the phone then try to send messages,
next try resetting it to factory setting, but be sure to backup all needed data, including inbox items and phonebook, just go to settings,restore factory settings and it will ask for code, and the default would be 12345, if you havent changed it, if you did changed the code use the code you have set.
if the solutions above doesnt fix the problem you can try to contact your service provider because this could be network problem or your account with them might have some issues and needs to be fixed.
Lastly if all of the steps are not fixing the issue, I suggest you bring your phone to the nearest phone repair shop accredited by NOKIA, for possible re-programming or re-formatting.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to format the Phone Memory.
1) Please take a backup of all the Data before you format. 2) Performing the format will delete the Data in the Phone Memory. 3) To reset some of the settings to their original values, select (depending on your device): 4) Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Factory settings. 5) Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone mgmt. > Factory settings. 6) To do this, you need the lock code. 7) The default lock code is 12345. 8) After resetting, the device may take a longer time to power on. 9) Documents and files are unaffected.
