Problem powering up

Tv works fine if it powers up, but often has to be turned on and off numerous time before it fully powers up.

Try this, using TV-remote press Menu. select Install. select Tuner Mode and select "Cable" or "Antenna" but NO "Auto". You could also try to unplug power for 4 hours. Good Luck Dale

The only thing I could figure is the power switch is not working properly. It has to be the power switch. Everything else works good. Get it replaced.

Logik TV stuck in standby

if you don't hear a click its the power over switch. on the power board it is a black box. if you have the back off turn the tv on and then out of stand by and flick the black box it will probably turn on.

My vizio worked fine and then it will not turn on unless the manual button is pushed and held numerous times. once on the remote works fine and can turn off. any cheap or easy remedy?

could be just bad capacitors on the power supply board they tend to puff up on top and then several attempts of pressing the power buitton is required to finally get the set to power up.

Ur tv the power supply board before it have those parts call capacitors it have gas leakage,that why u turn on/off numerous times it powering up.The power supply board,the board the a/c power cord go into it.that ur power supply board.Now all those gas leakage capacitors are bulges up on it top or puff on it top are total dead now.U know basic electronic's and soldering?Searches all around the power supply board and it supporting boards.Replaced all those defective dead capacitors that bulges up on it top or puff on it.Ur tv power well return and work.Or tries websites like, to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Tv won't power on, stand-by light blinks 6 times continously

just unplug tv 5 minutes. and plug it again. power on again. if not reset tv.

HK AVR25 MKII goes on and off numerous times on cold power up

The relay on the PWR SUPPLY board clicks once when the PWR switch is turned on then 2 to 5 sec. later it clicks again and 'off' it goes.
The small transformer ( standby power) on the board appears to be leaking crud (looks like wood glue) all along one edge.
Can I bypass this relay to see if the power transformer is 'ok'?

Make sure you battery is fully charged, and make sure that your alternator hasnt went south...

Battery or Alternator could be junk...
