High pitch noise when tv warms up

The television has a high pitch noise when it warms up that is loud and extremely annoying. The pitch is high and very consistent.

High pitch noise is created mostly by a Coil or a transformer,is not easy finding the source if you are not familiar with this type of coil since there many sizes and shapes,the set needs to be on while trying to find wich part is doing it SO if you dont know where and how better call a Technician and you will be safe.

High pitch sound on LC-42D62 is reproduced by switching transformers on power supply board. To correct this problem, you will need to remove power supply unit from the TV, spray all transformers with SILICONE CONFORMAL COATING. Let it dry for 12Hrs. Then install power supply unit back.

Loud buzzing noise on vizio tv
It sound like you may have sound processor problem which is part of the main board, I would also look at the 12vdc from power supply to make sure it is clean DC.

High pitched noise coming from set.
hi there high pitched noise form the set indicates that one of the coils inside the set are lose this happens with age and heat the coils are made of copper and are tightly glued or soldered together and can be as small as a bit of hair of as big as a pen tip the problem is that the coil is now vibrating which is causing the high pitch sound and sound be quite easy to identify with a good ear!

sometimes these can be sorted with a quick bit of solder to hold it in place on the main bord of where the coil is, but some times there is no cure due to very small braiding of the copper wire any attempt to solder may cause damage and breakage,

You may be able to replace the coil with another one from a good components store with the same value best thing is to take out the noisy coil and take it down to be replaced

the reason it appears worse when first turn one is that the coil is cold and vibrates alot more just like when the set is warm the coil expands like most metals do which stops it vibrating so much

High Pitch Noise
there has been a few cases of a coil in the cuircit whinning. and there is a simple fix...applying some silicone onto the coil to dampen it. the coil is ll037 on deflectin board. location m2 a black compnent with coil of copper wire wrap around it. thats my initale thought. it may be more. since you still have a picture.. any questions email me at [email protected]

Philips Projection TV I have a Philips modle # 60P8341 and the remote stopped working a while back, so I bought another one and that one didn't work so I have been working it manually. Recently the TV would automatically turn off and I think that the keyboard that contains the on-off button as well as the sensor for the remote (Part # 313501707611) is shot.
