Run a copy on the glass if there are no lines then something is on the scan glass of the document feeder. Use some window cleaner and scrub the document feeder glass and test. Sometimes white out or ink will stick to the glass and the scanner reads the dot as a line.
Does the line appear when you copy from the glass? Or is it Just the document feeder. If it is just throught the doc feeder then you have to clean the **** glass next to the main glass. It only takes a small dot to make a line. Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
It's one of two of these solutions. The fixing rollers more so the upper fixing roller which is the hot rollers at the exit end of the copier is dirty or need replacing. Or the drum has a cleaning blade on it that needs replacing. If you look at the drum and see if toner is still on the drum if so then your cleaning blade needs replacing. Also if that copier uses a blanking lamp then it might not be turning on so you can get double images.
Not familiar with that model but what I would try is to turn off the copier remove the glass and try moving it by hand, then turn it on and see what happens it may have a bad motor
You have a door on the right side of the machine. in that door is a thin piece of wire mounted inside a bracket. The bracket is white and is at an angle in the door. Do you see that now?
Did you check to see if the lines are before or after the fixing unit? Stop a copy before it gets to the fixing unit. If there is no lines in the same spot, then the problem is in the fixing unit, if not check the and clean the optics and dust proof glass. Good Luck...
try to clean the cover glass at the top of the copier with alchol. be sure that ther is no any dot or lines on top of the glass specialy the right side.ok
