Clarity and brightness backgound problems

I have ghost on lettering espicially but also a brightness problem for backgrounds. I have gone into the menu and adjusted the sharpness the brightness on the tv but the clarity still is fuzzy. I know how to get into the service menu but i am not sure where to make the adjustments.

What are the best settings for a Lowrance Elite 5x for freshwater use only. Applicable to Sensitivity,noise rejection and water clarity settings

Noise rejection = low
surface clarity = off
in the menu, sonar options choose "bottom color tracking white background" this will make the lake bottom appear brown and r he fish bright green.
Automatic sensitivity, but you can adjust it up or down to filter out background clutter and the unit will honor your settings.

Where the picture should be black, it appears to be green, and loses clarity. I tried adjusting the color and brightness and all the options in the menu, but nothing seemed to work. Any ideas??

the Green LCD Panel has gone bad. if you place a dark background image, you'll really notice the problem.

Get the picture up you want to display as your background, right click and choose "Set as Background"

I have a 46' Sony Bravia that has a thin bright pink vertical line that runs from top to bottom on bright backgrounds, but dark backgrounds it is gone and it comes and goes....

sounds like a video or mains fault.

Colors gone crazy

convergence chips need to be replaced. if you are handy with a soldering iron, you can fix them yourself with parts from partsstore.com or you can have a technician replace them which is expensive. its cheaper to do yourself

Regarding your concern the ET 3000 magic sing does not have background vocals at all. The manufacturer design the magic sing for sing along purposes only but they are now improving there future products to have that feature with background vocals.

reset the settings to factory default and make sure the resolution matches. you can adjust the clock and phase in the menu.
