Am trying to switch my oven to self clean mode and its coming up with E106. What does this mean?
I had same issue - A simple switch off/on at the main breaker for the oven was enough to resolve it.

Hit cancel or kill the power at the electrical/breaker box.

self cleaning is sometimes a cycle called PYRO clean / look for the setting with a really high temp. self cleaning is a programmes require a massive amount of heat and will smoke a lot when on , so dont be alarmed! most oven when on self cleaning mode will automaticly lock the door due to the high heat involved in the process. so remember to remove pans etc. from inside.

NO..wont hurt it as loong as you got it all out.. but plz remind her that this is a self cleaning oven....Which does not mean you have to clean it yourself !!! it should be fine.. tell her next time to run it thru a self clean cycle for at least 3.5 hours on the timer setting..

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.

F93 error code means Maximum oven door lock time exceeded. Check oven door lock/door lock switchs.hope this helps
