Question about Xerox WorkCentre XE88 Laser Printer

H4 Problem Our office lost power this morning and since the power came back on my XE88 has had H4 in the display area and won't print anything. I've tried disconnecting the cables and the power but nothing has changed this H4 readout which I have never seen before. Inside the door of the machine it shows L1-L4,E7,U2,H2,H4 Power off/on or call for service. We bought this machine at Staples and I don't know who you would call for service. Please help! THanks

Hi there, if you want to clear this code its very simple, do the following: -on your control panel locate the clear and auto exposure buttons, next -hit in the following sequence clear, auto, clear, auto without holding them down, after that all your panel lights should go out. If they do not you have to keep trying...They will go out. -Next program the machine as if your going to make 14 copies -Once 14 is displayed, hit the green start button and your copier should be working again. Cheers! :)

Xerox XC and XD series copier H3 or H4 error code reset procedure

To reset the H3 or H4 condition on just about any Xerox XC or XD series copier press the following key's in sequence and as quickly as possible (with 4 seconds for the first 4 keys)
Press "C" then the far left key (exposure mode) then the "C" key then the far left again.
So in other words C, far left, C, far left
If done correctly the display should go blank.
Now key in 14 as if you were going to make 14 copies.
Now press the print button.
The machine should reset and the code should be gone.
9 times out of 10 this is a false code that pops up due to power surges or noise.
If the code comes back this means you have a heater lamp or thermal fuse (more common) failure in the fusing area and will need service.
This procedure will work on all Xerox XD and XC models.

I've bought a SDHC card 32 GB but Handy Recorder H4 do not recognize the card. I've tried to format it at the pc, but no way, the message is "no card"

Verify the device and card reader support SDHC. Try a 2g card and see if that works, typically anything 4g or larger is SDHC, older devices can not read such cards. It is quite possible that the card is bad.

To reset the H4 condition on just about any Sharp AL series copier press the following key's in sequence and as quickly as possible (with 4 seconds for the first 4 keys)

Some model's use 2 other initial codes, so you may need to use one of these 2 alternate codes to get your display to go blank. The rest of the procedure is the same.
Alternate codes are: #, * , C, * or pound,star,C,star and also
#, Interupt, C, Interupt
If done correctly the display should go blank.
Now key in 14 as if you were going to make 14 copies.
Now press the print button.
The machine should reset and the code should be gone.

My Photocopier displayed error H4 on the screen

H4 signal is fuser unite problem please call a technician they solve this problem.Just we serve problem location because i am not live your area.

E7-03 error code on work center xe88 xerox

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Lost power

unfortunately, it doesn´t have one.
after trying out other power outlet and still won´t power on, check your warranty status with the manufacturer (usually starts from the date of purchase)
