It is probably wise to seek help from qualified technician to fix your tv sets otherwise you will just end up regretting because you will just make its defect worse.

A trouble in any of the following circuits may cause the symptom: bandpass amplifier, ACC, color killer, 3.58 Mhz oscillator, 3.58 Mhz output, burst gate and burst amplifier. but as techman told you, if you are not inclined in this kind of job, better bring it to a qualified tv technician.

Diane, so sorry to burst your bubble doll but this is not a place for you to even consider experimenting with. Do you know how to read a schematic? Do you know what a burst amp is or how its generated? Really you should not attempt to repair a TV set unless you understand how the color or how the other circuits work. Do you know how the croma Oscilator and the burst circuit works together in the video to produce color? Please unless you can answer all of the abouve , seek out a pro to assist you in this repair as I said many times before, a solid state TV set has no user serviceable parts inside them.

I was watching TV and my color went out I have a good clear black and white picture no color how do I fix it thanks Bryan
Same problem, all of a sudden no color but good B&W pic. DVD plays movies in color, but all channels in B&W only. Not a Directv problem, as they were out today.
