If your Magimix food processor won't turn on despite the handle clicking in, there may be a problem with the power supply or the motor of the device. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check that the power cord is securely plugged into an outlet and the processor's base.
Make sure the outlet is working by plugging in another device.
If the outlet is fine, then try plugging the Magimix into a different outlet.
If the device still doesn't turn on, it's possible that the motor has overheated. Allow the device to cool down for a few hours and try turning it on again.
If none of these steps work, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a repair technician for further assistance.
It's also worth noting that the Magimix 3200XL comes with a 30-year motor guarantee, so if the motor is the problem and the device is still under warranty, you may be eligible for a replacement.
I have a Magimix Cuisine 5200XL and have watched dirt and other not so nice stuff build up inside the handle. I long hesitated trying to remove the handle, afraid I would break it, but today using a regular knife (the kind you eat with) I carefully pried the handle loose. With some insertion of the knife at the top, bottom and sides in the crack between the white (or other color for you perhaps) pat of the handle and the transparent part of the handle I was able to get it off. I then cleaned it, and afterwards it snapped nice back in to place again.
