I have tried putting 4 new alkaline batteries in it and it will not turn on! It does nothing. My husband left me 9 months ago and I am selling all of his stuff and he has this thingy and it is expensive online so I want to see if I can fix it or get it to work. Please help!
Hi
I have the same problem. coming from the dc-dc converter making the +Vram supply. Not yet resolved but on the way to :-).
Spray some wd40 in the dial (only a small amount) and clean the terminals where the batterys go into. Sometimes a little unit will leak battery juice if it's been sitting and it will mess with the power-just a little steel wool and wd40 to make them shiney!
