Electrolux EWF 1074 - How do I turn off the annoying beeps at the end of every wash

To access the drain pump, it is not necessary to remove the rear
cabinet shell. The pump can be accessed from the base.
a. Detach the clamps which secure the filter body to the base
and raise slightly.
b. Remove the drain pump.
c. Detach the drain hose.
d. Detach the wiring connectors.



Access to the pump is from the base of the appliance:
a. Remove the cover.
b. Detach the connectors.
c. Press down the anchor tab.
d. Turn the pump counter-clockwise.
e. Remove the pump.

When re-assembling:
• Insert the pump fully into its seat in the filter body before
rotating it.
• Check that the anchor tab is undamaged. If so, use a
3.5x19 mm screw to secure the pump.

you need to take the door apart to be able to replace the handle
is a easy job but remember the order you take it apart to be able to put it back on

Try turning the main power off at the socket for 5 mins - the door may open then , if not turn the power back on and see what happens.
i had this problem on an Electrolux and it worked.

Remove back plate and you should see it middle bottom of machine ,it has two Spade Terminals with two wire fitted to it also an Earth onto its case,You can look up heating elements on the net, this will give you some idea of what they look like and cost.

I have the same problem "no power at all" when plug into the power wall inlet. No lamp on, display is blank/no led of 7 segments lit, nothing. The door can be opened and closed normally. Holding Delay and Extra Rinses buttons when power on the electrolux EWF 1074, doesn't help either. The electricity wall plug in is active. What can I do more ?

Its not unusual for these machines to take a long time. Especially if you are using a heating ( Warm / hot wash) cycle.

Had the same problem with our Bosch, cap would not even turn!
Suggestions-
pour anticalc/limescale fluid into any gap there is around the cap. Empty the machine and you can switch it off providing the door is open! Then pour the contents of at least 2 sachets of proprietary anticalc powder/liquid into the drum direct together with a kettle full of boiling water. Leave overnight at the very least. The following day run just a spin cycle as then there will be no water diluting the mix. This mix will go through the filter and motor and is likely to help release the filter/cap. If you feel like it, do the overnight again. If nothing else it will ensure that the heater element is clean!
I had to spend a couple of hours gently turning the cap back and forth until it finally released its hold- but the filter did not remain attached to the cap by its rubber ring. More patience, anticalc fluid and all was revealed!
I now run an anticalc clean regularly............which reminds me..............!

you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds...you will see the padlock symbol go and then use your machine as usual

i just went through the same thing.......you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds, this will unlock it.....so turn the machine on and press the two icons, dont worry about the beeping and flashing after 6 seconds the padlock symbol will go and you can use the machine as usual.....i wish they put that 'minor detail' in the manual...cheers!!
