Codes on cobra radar detector
I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of all the times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

Hi bb360 - X1, K1, K2 etc indicate the radar band the police are using and the signal strength you are receiving. For instance, if you were to see a X5 come up on your display it would mean the guy is right on top of you and it may be too late to slow down. X, K, and Ka Superwide are the radar bands that are used by police radar guns. X band was the first band used for by radar guns, but is now the least used. All radar detectors that we carry detect all 3 of these bands.

cobra misidentifies there bands, they even say laser is band. DO not pay attention to it. There is only x k and ka used by law enforcement, Laser/lidar are different.
