Does anyone have a manual for mintek rc 1700 dvd player

Especially want to know how to use the remote,, have not used player in a while

I suggest you go to their website at: http://www.mintekdigital.com/user_man.asp The DTV263 is not available online, but the DTV323 is there and this should be the 32" version of the same set. Download the manual for the 32" version.

SOURCE: Mintek DVD-2580 DVD

I might have what you want. The mintek dvd 2580 password " screen " looks like it wants four numbers, it wants five numbers.
And they are 88888 as set by the manufacturer. If you ever need the code for the remote control it should be 0717. I hope this helps.

hey, had the same problem.
found one on ebay for $20 shipped.
also heard that the "Kameleon" Universal remote, from radioshack, will work with it.
The remote is the RC-600 (atleast for my DTV-265), and here's where I got it on ebay:

I need a remote control for a mintek 32 inch flat panel tv with built in dvd.the remote control is a RC -600. where can I find one?
It's tough trying to find OEM (manufacturer's) remotes. You could purchase a universal remote and program it to your set. Mintek doesn't have many codes and I believe 259 should do it. Good luck :)

Mintek is out of business. There is no service for their products. You must try to find someone who has experience with the product and does repairs.A Previously listed service center is a good location. You can also look for service personnel who may be working on their own. Try using the internet search engines and look for anyone servicing Mintek products. Mintek DTV-373-D Remote code
As far as I know, no regular universal remote will work with the mintek TV/DVD's.
I have heard that the "Kameleon" remote, from radioshack works with them.
I had the same problem, so I ordered a replacement original remote from ebay for $20. It was the RC-600 for mine (DTV-265 26" LCD/DVD)
