It sounds like you have a defective panel. It will be cheaper for you to replace the set. Hopefully the place that you purchased the boards from have a good return policy.
Simply just manualy adjust the bottom of the screen by adjusting the distance by an inch or so.
Depending on what screen you have adjust it from behind or vith a thin thread
1. A button on your remote that says either: ARC, Ratio, 16:9, 4:3.... Some remotes have a picture of a square with arrows pointing out towards each corner..... I'm unfamiliar with this set, but it sounds like a widescreen, so give it a go
To my knowledge, it is not the zoom that has to be adjusted but rather the horizontal width, zoom would expand all (to, bottom & both sides) whereas your only concern are the two sides.
Should the horizontal width not fully expand, then there is an internal problem with the horizontal deflection circuitry which could either be the yoke, a capacitor or shunt diodes. In certain instances, a below normal voltage at the mains or the internal power supply could also cause this.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Hi:
When you say small horizontal screen, ¿Do you mean picture does not fill the screen completely from top to button? ¿Do images display normally though they are smaller in size? ¿Is color and definition of signal OK? Please answer so I can have a better picture of the problem.
