My Raytheon C70 was wired to depth sounder, GPS ,Radar when it was stolen. I now have all the C70 cables still in place and need to know how to connect them to the RL70CRC. What new cables will I need and what cable adapters are available? All the C70 cables are female. Thanks and I hope you can help me solve this. Herb

Raymarine C and E series are internaly PCs running Windows XP. Network capability between your two machines is slightly different as yuor newer system is using hsb2 (high gain signal booster).

What you need to use are called Raymarine HSB and HSB2 Interconnection Cables.

You can also buy a hub or a switch with both connectors, this also resolves the problem.

You can also find the parts here: Raymarine Products and Parts List

Or contact Raymarine.

Call them if the part is not listed online.

Thanks.

I think your best bet would be to contact Raymarine customer support directly at:

They would be in the best position to help you out with this one :)

How do I get water depths displayed on my C70

You haven't said if you have a DSM fitted ( sonar unit and tranducer) the C70 is only a multifunction display unit MFDU you then put a card in for navigation, a radar aerial/ scanner or a sonar unit for depth and fish finding .
if you have a sonar unit and it's working then
press Presentation
press Depth Digit and select on / off
press OK or cancel to return to the default display

If the transducer is out of the water, you will not get a reading and see the flashing depth. You should hear and feel the clicking in the transducer when out of the water and working properly. Are you getting a temp reading when out of the water?

I got a raytheon sl70 pathfinder gps that wont get a fixed signal the antenna is wired right but there dosent seen to be power comeing out of the cord that leads to the antenna. what should i do ????? i...

If you're using a raystar 125 antenna, you will have to power the red wire + and the shield wire - separately. Sl70's don't provide power over seatalk. Also make sure your green and brown wires are properly connected. If it's a 120 just power the red and sheild(black) and leave off the all except the yellow that's your data. If you still have nothing may probably have a problem in the antenna itself.

When I turn on the unit it will not read the depth only a blue screen and it will not let me switch out of auto mode or run the sounder test?

I know this is an old question but just ran across it. The 1833C/NT is a radar and chart plotter. It requires the external and optional black box sounder to have depth recorder functionality.
