My ipod 160 gig clickwheel won't play on my sounddock white. i can only hear a low-end 'bump' repeating... i suspect i tripped the fuse. does any one know how to change the fuse?
Assuming you have a Sounddock Series 1 the Low end Bump -Bump, nine times out of 10, the Bump is the power supply connector inserted in the wrong orientation. Check you have the plug correct. If it is correct then look on www.invebo.com for the diagnostics video.

Well, there really was nothing to it.
I let it dry out for the rest of the day and it went back to normal, thankfully.

You can't - the repair needs to be done centrally as the company would be at risk if it sold electrical parts to people who aren't qualified to repair such items. Therefore you need to call Bose and have this repaired, however it's quite a common fault so shouldn't cost too much.

Try another Ipod first.Go to Bose website for tech help if this is not the solution.Is the Ipod connector damage on the bose or your Ipod?
