My mp3 player could not play some songs

I downloaded a lot of songs with mp3 format into my mp3 player.however when i turned on my mp3 player some songs could not play as shown can't play.Please tell me how to solve this issue.Thanks a lot.

    my friend downloaded songs from his computer to my mp3 player but he did not use sonic stage and now i can not pull the songs up on my mp3 player. how do i delete or get those songs to play on my mp3 player??

    i have used the MP file manager to transfer songs it does it but says Update file after transfer... says its all done I unplugged my e505 and it shoes the songs but when i play says ' cannot play?

    why and where did i go wrong help help help!

Use DB Poweramp! If you burned all the video mp3 player from the SAME album they will work...I'm guessing you didn't and some are aparently protected and you do not have the license...If I'm mistaken...oh well...anyways, use DB Poweramp and you will never use anything else!

Download mp3 software from sony website ,, n then u r able to play mp3 songsn can put mp3 files direct to mp3 without convertning them ,, but in this sony sony u have to conert songs into AC3 b4 u put them into ur mp3 ,,so I suggest u to download this program

Sounds to me like you have the wrong format for the songs to play properly on your MP3 player.
Your player only supports MP3 and WMA type audio files (non-encrypted).
You may have to change the format of your songs to play on your MP3 player.

Song format for that song to be compatible with your mp3 player is wrong, when downloading songs make sure they are always in an mp3 format.

Loaded songs from cds ripped to computer. When itry ro play the songs on the media player, I get a 'format error'
Your getting a format error because the format of the song,video,etc
you are trying to play is not the format needed by your MP3 player to
play the song,video,etc.
Always check in your owners manual to find out what format your player
requires.
Once you have determined what the format you have (MP3,MP4,ACC,WMA,etc.)
you will need to determine what format you need for your player to play
those songs,video,etc.
If the format that you have for your songs,videos,etc is different than
the format that you need for your player to play them, then you will
have to download a format converter and convert each song,video,etc to
the format that is usable in your MP3 player.

Format error
Take note that if you have reformatted your drive all file inside were lost. Basically mp3 players can play only mp3 format. If the format of your songs inputted to your mp3 player are not the same with the format required to your player nothing should be happen to play.

If the required of your player is mp3 so you need to put only mp3 format. No other format should be played. If your download songs are wma format convert it to mp3 format.

Okay, I'll discuss your 1st problem first. Check the battery of your mp3 player. Playing songs require a lot of energy.

Secondly, hitting 'format' will empty your mp3 player. So, now that you've formatted it, you download songs and more again and then avoid hitting the 'format' next time if you don't want to lose all your files.

I've downloaded songs but they don't show up on my player
Each mp3 player can only play songs in certain formats. A Philips GoGear, for instance, can't read iTunes format. Some players cannot read DRM-encrypted WMA files, which is what most music services use. When you load a song in the wrong format to an mp3 player, the song appears to transfer, but the mp3 player won't actually play it. The best workaround for this problem is to only load songs that are in true mp3 format - they are accepted by 99% of digital audio players. If you give us your manufacvturer/model #, and music service name, we can tell you exactly which formats your player plays.

Nextarm933a mp3 player cant get to play songs or download
When you download songs, save it first on your My Music folder for you to easily track the song list. Once you have successfully downloaded the songs, insert your MP3 Player. Format your MP3 Player first by right clicking the drive and click format. Once it is formatted, Copy the songs from your My Music folder then Paste it on your MP3 Player drive. 
*Note: Try to play your saved song in your Windows Media Player if the song is working fine before you copy it on your MP3 Player.

Hey there Peggy,

A lot of people have been complaining about this particular product.First of all, you have to format the player, but the instruction manualdoesn't even mention this..
Plug one into the usb port and wait for it to detect. Then go to My Computer, and right click on the drive and Format.
You should now be able to copy songs over, although Protected mp3's WILL NOT PLAY ON THIS PRODUCT!!!
Unbelievable, I know, in this day and age..
Almost makes you want to download and install Soulseek and download 'normal' versions of the mp3's, doesn't it? Because they will always play in your mp3 player?
So first format the thing. The rest is up to you ;)

My pearl mp3 player says no files when i turn it on
The songs are in the wrong format - it does not recognize iTunes songs or DRM-encrypted songs which do not have "transfer rights" (many msuic services - especially free ones but also paid ones - give you WMA's that have "play rights" -i.e. you can play them on your computer; but if they do not have transfer rights, they will show up in your player, yet not play correctly/skip).

Transfer only songs that are in Mp3 Format and you will never have this problem.
