All people who cannot get into the cave: You need to get lost in the fog, keep going north following the ghost ship (if you get attacked use the skull icons on the map to defend yourself), and you will eventually be completely shrouded in fog and be "teleported" back a bit. THEN head back to Molida and talk to Romanov, he will tell you to go away, but will call you back as you walk away. If you talk to him again, he will let you into the cave and the woman outside will let you go through.
