SOURCE: i need to reset the drum count on Workcentre Pro

I understand you have a situation to reset the drum.
I am still researching this, I forgot the process, sorry.
But If i remember, this might work.
Press and hold these buttons. Menu, 1,3
Power up the machine while holding them.
If you get a messge that says enter code.
It is either 80, 81, or 82.
You can also try to reset the mother board which will defalt all settings on the machine to factory settings. Menu, 1,3, *.
Hold buttons and power up machine, hold buttons for about 15 seconds.
If the star does not work, try the "#" instead.
Your information needs to be reentered in the mahine via the menu button, speed dials, trays sizes you are using.
You may want to print out a reports configuration first before preforming these funtions.
This machine can print out a table road map to show what available menues can be configured.
If this does not work. Then do not try to enter anything else.
It has been so long, I would have to be in front of this machine.

If you are not sure what you are doing, place a service call on this machine and let the service representative handle it for you.
If your machine has been operating pretty good, and you wish to keep it longer, pay the fee and you will have a much better machine to use.
This is a good machine if you wish to keep it longer.
Good luck.

Machine display Full memory messege. Idone what

On this fax machine if you tried everything and still no luck, you might want to try to reset the main board.
This will reset the main board to factory settings.
When you do this, you may need to enter all your information back in again, speed dials, date, time, ect....
On this type of problem, sometimes this works, sometimes the problem maybe more indepth such as, replacing the main board on the machine. I am talking about the large mother board.
Hold down these buttons at the same time... Menu, 1, 3 and * button.
While holding these buttons, use the left hand to power on the machine, while holding these buttons for about 15 seconds...
When you let go of them, the machine should come back on to a normal screen.
There can be other changes in the memorywhen you reset the main board information.
If the machine does not come back on to a normal messege screen, you may need to replace the mother board.
Good luck.

Xerox 765

Reading your question, this is what I can mention to you.
On this machine just replace the drum and continue your work. The information should be still in memory. Print out the job number.. You can tell how much memory there is because it tells you in % on the menu.

If you do not replace the drum, you will get streaks on your copies.
Good luck.
