My machine doesn't even get to finish filling with water when it continuously starts to beep, and I get a message saying it needs a service, and then the error code 131 comes up.
Thing is, I've just had the motor replaced, including a module (not sure which one though) about 3 months ago.
I also called f&p and they said it was I think, a reposition sensor alignment error???

If the screens are clean and it takes several times of starting it for the machine to start washing the only option left is to replace the inlet valves.
The error code is displayed when its beeping. I don't know the error code, so It can only be three things, Out of balance switch,Lid magnetic reed switch,Or Rotor position sensor,Your error code would help me work out witch one of these are faulty. to work out your error code look at picture below. Add up the lights that are on.
Your fault code is 131,RPS faulty. 130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor Position Sensor Error
The Motor Controller has found an error in the pattern received from the Rotor
Position Sensor. Likely causes of this fault are a bad connection on the harness
between the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor Controller, or a faulty Rotor
Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action:
1) Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor and
the Motor Controller module connector.
2) Check the contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to
see if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action:
Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester. Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module.
Action:
Replace Motor Controller module. 131. (10000011) Phase 1 to 6 - Repetitive Rotor Position Sensor Error
This fault is similar to fault number 130 above but differs slightly in that it is a
continuous condition. See fault code 130 for service procedure
Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya When your washer displays error LF , it is due to low water
pressure, slow or continuous fill. All washers are designed to operate
with a water supply pressure of 20-100 PSI. When the pressure drops
below 20 PSI the washer can have the following problems;
Slow Fill- low water pressure reduces the speed at which water flows into the machine.
Verify
the pressure at all other water sources in the house (i.e. sinks,
showers, etc..). If you find other places where the pressure is low, the
problem is not with the machine but with the water supply.
Continuous
Fill- The valve may not fully seat under 20 PSI which would allow for a
constant flow even when the machine isn't supposed to be filling.
Contact the water company to verify the pressure being supplied to the house
Error Codes- LF for long fill or FH for no water detected.
A plumber may need to be consulted if the pressure is found to be too low.
This means that your Washer has somehow Over Filled with water and will "FL"ood if it does not drain the excess water:
It should also be beeping every 10 seconds and the pump should start to empty some water to rectify the issue. Restart the machine machine as required or push the overfill reset switch. To avoid flooding, you might need to temporarily shut the water supply if water continues to flow in the machine while the "FL" code is displayed. Hope it helps let me know how you go.
its a error code for not enough water fast enoght or no water. check fill bibs are on and screens inside fill valve are clean if ok . make sure you do not have steel branded flow retrickers fill hoses it if so replace hoses. washer has to get a amount of water fast or it will code out
