Usr5451 cant access router, what is default ip address ?

The model number you provided is not a router, it is an access point. As such, it doesn't have its own native IP address, it gets one via DHCP when you connect it to your network.

You should have received a setup disk with the access point that has a configuration utility. If you don't have the disk any more, you find the utility online at http://www.usr.com/support/product-template.asp?prod=5451. Use this to regain access.

Otherwise, you can login to your current main ROUTER and check the DHCP table to see which IP addresses have been assigned. You should be able to tell which one was assigned to the access point. If you cannot figure out which one is which, just PING each one successively, and the results will give you NAME of the device you are pinging.

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. When you reset your router the IP address will revert back to its factory default IP address and access information, if you changed the IP address prior to the reset you will have to use the default IP.
default IP: 192.168.0.1 (make sure that your network cards IP address is somthing similar like 192.168.0.2 and not 192.168.1.2)
Default username: admin
Default pass: leave blank

Are you trying to access the router ?
I think the 192.168.1.100 might be the IP address of the computer.
If you want to access the router then you will need the Default Gateway number not the IP address.

1. go to start -> run -> type cmd
2. at the prompt type ipconfig /all
3. note down the IP address of your default gateway
4. enter this ip address in internet explorer. eg. http://192.168.1.1
5. enter in your routers default username & password. ( usually admin for the username and admin for the password.)

1 ) Check if IP address is the correct address of your Gateway.
Check if you can ping.
Be sure you have your Java enabled
Some router requires a specific Browser (IE6 or IE7) and cannot respond to different browser.
Be sure to remove any Java protection from your Browser.
Check with user manual if IP address requires also a specific port number ( 8080 or other).
Be sure to Connect Router using Lan cable
2) Change your PC IP setting to same subnet as your router
Control Panel / Network settings / properties of TCP/IP define an IP address and a subnet mask compatible with Router as gateway.
3) If you are not sure of Router IP address use reset button on router back to factory default; use this to configure router.

Check first the cables and connections, and the broadband filter.

You need to connect through cable to configure the router.

To access the router panel you need to input the router IP address on Internet explorer bar.

default IP is http://192.168.0.1

If IP is not default, you find out IP by opening the command prompt from start menu>>all programs>>accessories>>system tools (that kind of dos mode). On command prompt type ipconfig/all.
The default gateway is router IP.

On the router access panel default settings are :

User Admin
Password leave blank
