Phillips tv Hello, I went to bed last night and my tv was working great as usual and this morning the screen was black and when I turn the tv on and touch any other button on the remote or the tv, it shuts off............BUT the green on light keeps blinking....It is driving me crazy. I can't even watch a DVD on it.......HELP ME PLEASE P.S. It also just shuts off on it's own seconds after it has sound, but still not picture.....HEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP it's not that old and has been a gem till now...THANK YOU

My Screen Went Black and i can only hear Audio.

Ur tv the LCD inverter board it dead.This board it help to get a backlight to ur LCD screen panel go through the Tuner board to produre a picture.Replaced this LCD inverter board u will get ur picture back.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.It a long board in shape.

I have a Polaroid television and when I went to bed last night it was working fine. This morning when I turn the TV on, wherever there is supposed to be black, there is a green static color instead.

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.
