When I click "Print" paper feeds through the printer, but nothing prints

When I try to print, the computer and printer operate as they always have, but the page comes through blank. The message I get is "Right hand cartridge incorrect." The right hand cartridge is the color cartridge is the color cartridge and it is still at least half full. It is not just that it doesn't print in color, it doesn't print anything at all.

My 922 menu bar gives an error msg: right cartridge incorrect. It is the black and white. Both cartridges were refilled by Walgreens. The black and white right one was rechecked by them electronically for head problems and found none. They recycled for another refill just in case it didn't fill the last time. After installation again, I get the same error msg. Each time I print I get a blank page. The printer acts as if it is reading and printing but comes out blank.

Hi all , had the same problem, searched for answer everywhere , found none.
Then I did this: you know the solvent that come in refill kit, that semitransparent liquid in the 4th bottle...
I used that to clean very well the cartridge head, the small contacts on the back , and the small contacts on the printer, where the cartridge is connected.
And when I put the refilled cartridge in it started to work, no "incorrect right cartridge" message.
I hope this helps

Go to printers and faxes folder, right click the printer and go to 'printer preferences'. under preferences go to advanced tab and click on button "more options". uncheck the box that says "use color cartridge to print all black. Click Apply and then OK.

that should resolve the problem if your printer feeds paper through and prints nothing on it, yet it prints when you copy or scan something.

SOURCE: States "Right Cartridge incorrect"

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
