I don't have the installation cd for an LG CDMA usb modem-where can I get one?

you will have to open up your network connections

click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red X or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ?
you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question mark? right click install drivers
the driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider
or the motherboard disc or you might download one if you dont have on a disk

try to download and reinstall the usb driver from here and that should fix the problem

There is issue with USB Driver which is not installed on your Laptop
You just installed USB driver First and tri again I am sore it’s detecting your CDMA USB Modem.

I have purchased recently a USB wireless internet service from forton modem . The USB modem is not working the desktop but when I try to install the USB modem on my computer

i want cdma 1x usb modem driver.

I faced the same problem i installed it. But got through it. See if this works for you too:

1. You have to install the software you downloaded from the tata site or from the CD you got with the MODEM. Do this without attaching the MODEM to the laptop.

2. Once done, insert the MODEM into the USB drive. The Windows will automatically search drivers for USB MODEM and QualCoMM drivers and install it.

After it shows the success message, click the Tata Indicom Dialer and check. The problem should not appear again.
