SOURCE: Hi. I have a Krups XP7245 combination

I had the same problem with the XP7240. The rubber seal in the plunger that pushes out the coffee cake after brewing is worn or dirty. You need to romve the cover by taking of the top (screws in the bean collector and cover tray for cleaning tablet). You have to be rough because parts are clicked together. The face of the machine comes off by pulling it upwards (it is just clamped with plastic nudges). Once that is done you remove the 4 screws that were hidden by the stainless steel face. Then remove the electronic board (leave connections on except for bean grinder and boiler). Grinder can then be removed followed by the cream cover. Remove the 15mm steel nut on top of the arm. Remove the front and display. Then use a torix on top of the brew plate and an allan key on the bottom of the plunger. Unscrew, remove spring and seal (very small cup). Let me know if you need more instructions (take a rainy sunday afternoon to do this)

Error 0A en xp7240

The sensor is not detecting any heat from the boiler element. Most common cause is the sensor has become unstuck from the front of the boiler. Second most common cause is solder failure and wire is no longer making contact. If you cannot fix it then you need to buy a new boiler so be very careful and make no mistakes about how you plan to fix it.

Error 06

Look for a water leak, it may be to the base of the machine and will release out the vent UNDER the drip tray if you tilt the machine forwards. There are many places for it to leak, not easy to find, I have an outer housing with cutouts to allow me to see inside while it's running. Hydraulic ram and the distributor are the most common places to cause error 6 but there is also a tricky one where the valve on the pump releases to the drip tray. A leak is the problem, finding where/which is the hard part.

I have krups xp7245. It just happened today after 2 yrs daily use.

These coffeemakers are not the easiest to work on, contact Krups and locate an authorised service agent in your area and run the fault by them, they will likely need to open it up to properly quote you. There are lots and lots of potential problems inside one of those machines. If you wish to look at yourself you are going to have to remove the top, sides and back covers. Side & back is one part. Even when you have it all exposed to not expect the fault to be immediately obvious, I have covers with cutouts so I can run it and look inside at the same time.

I had some water problems with mij krups and try to solve it. Now it gives an error 0D. What does this mean?

I have a Krups XP7240 that came with the same error code (0d). I believe that the XP7240 and the XP7245 is pretty much identical inside. The sollution for me was that the connector to the front was loose. After pressing down on the connector, the machine worked perfectly again.
