I've hooked up my reciever, everything seems to be correct, but I cant seem to get any sound what so ever. Is there something I have missed in the initial programming... Please someone help me.
As I mentioned in another message, check the front left lower side of the receiver, there are two keys for SPEAKERS choice 1 or 2 or both. It could be that you had the wrong output choice.

I guess you tried it in a coacial out female tulip output your spreakers can not decode digital audio you use active speakers this means they got an Amp inside to get digital out you need a reciever that supports digital in
try connecting a speaker to the sub output terminals at low volume and see if it has loaded output, if it works , your subwoofers voice coil is open/blown
Go though your menu on the reciever, Look for the speaker functions for your front end rear speakers ,It was probably turned off. Was it working before you got it from your friend,
tape out from reciever to line in on the eq --then line out from the eq to tape in on the reciever --whenever the tape monitor will be used on the reciever the sound will then be equalized
normally the belts are in a 8 configeraton I WILL LOOK THIS UP And see if I CAN EXPLAIN how to install it by tomarrow am. thanks for your time and the ifo be back to you.
